SETTING OUR HEARTS

EFM (Education for Ministry)

Education for Ministry is a four-year course of study and is an extension of The University of the South/School of Theology. Currently, Grace St. Paul’s has two EFM classes following this course of study, one Wednesday mornings and one on Wednesday evenings. Classes begin meeting in the Fall.

Lay persons face the difficult and often subtle task of interpreting the richness of the church’s faith in a complex and confusing world. Many of us find the need for a theological education that supports our faith and also teaches us to express that faith in day-to-day events. Education for Ministry (EFM) has come to play an important role.

Advance registration required. Classes meet September through May of each year.

For more about current Grace St. Paul’s EFM groups, contact Donna Olson Shreve, Peggy Scott, Kay Bigglestone, or Linda Hutson.
