Our Programs for Children include our Sunday morning activities. We provide childcare beginning at 8:30 a.m. for infants through age 10. A Children's Chapel is offered for children age 3-11 during the Liturgy of the Word at the 10:00 a.m. Eucharist. Children participate in the liturgical procession at the beginning of the service and then attend their own chapel service which features singing and prayer. Children return midway through the Eucharist to receive communion. Children have the option of joining their parents or sitting with Sunday School teachers. Immediately after receiving communion, children return to the undercroft to attend Sunday School which lasts thirty minutes ending at approximately 11:35. a.m. However, our ministry for and with children at GSP is not limited to Sunday School. We provide child care for the Contemporary Eucharist on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. as well as for meetings or other programs upon request. Special worship services and other programs are regularly offered, and we also organize social events for families.
