PASTORAL CARE

The Be-friend-ers Caring Ministry is a confidential lay ministry of caring listeners who are trained to reach out to those members of the Grace St. Paul's community who are experiencing challenges in their lives, including illness, anxiety, depression, grief, unemployment, loneliness, or difficult periods of transition. Be-friend-er Caring Ministers are a group of caring men and women who make commitments to be with individuals at important times of life transitions. Some are also trained as Lay Eucharistic Ministers to carry the sacrament to the sick and shut-ins. Be-friend-ers also meet together regularly for continuing mutual supervision and support. This program is always looking for new people who feel called to this ministry. Contact the rector if you are interested in the training program for this important program.

HEALING TOUCH CLINICS
Healing Touch is an energy therapy that uses gentle touch to assist the body’s natural healing process. The treatments take place as you lie fully clothed on a table or sit in a chair. Healing Touch can help relieve stress, promote relaxation, and increase vitality, as well as help with pain management, surgery recovery, and anxiety/depression. The clinic is open to the GSP community and to any friends or neighbors they invite.
